Game On

Hi my name is Andrew. I am a huge gamer and really like to create art.

I like a lot of video games and Japanese anime. I am hooked on the style of these shows and video games. Some of my favourite franchises are Kill la Kill, Need for Speed and Devil May Cry. I am a pro at most racing games! Just ask me!

I enjoy making work around my favourite characters including Godzilla, Nui Hamei and Kirby. They appear in a lot of my work.

My favourite work includes character design and game creation. Making my own card game Asobi and motion videos have been really fun. I don't like to act but love making music videos and drawing my favourite cars.

I am great with computers, details and multitasking. I have a great sense of humor and am well known for always remembering dates and anniversary of events.

Thanks for checking out my site!

Video Projects

Monster Punch

This project used the green screen and timing. I had to add motion effects for each level and scene. It was easy to make but took a lot of time to edit.

This video was really fun to create. I don't like to act very much but I do enjoy playing video games. The video looks just like a lot of side scrolling games where you face off against enemies each level and at the end their is a final boss. I have a health bar and have to use my attacks to defeat the monsters.

Ottawa Sens Will Always Be A Great Team

The Ottawa Senators are a great team because I liked them when I was a kid

My favorite player is Erik Karlsson
I feel they can make the play offs because they haven't won a Stanley Cup since the 1920s.

The last game was awesome because it was the first game that I've been went to overtime and they won 3-2 against the Minnesota Wild and me, my mom and the rest of the sens fans we're happy that karlsson scored with only 30 seconds left.
There are 38 games left before the play offs and hopefully they will make it.

Best Bowling Season Ever

Get Ready To Race And Shoot At The Same Time!

Another great season of bowling with the Special Olympics Bowling here in Ottawa. It was a year full of competition and fun. Each week on Mondays I would meet my team-mates at Orleans Bowling Centre. We are called The Dream Team and from September to April we played against ourselves and 14 other teams. Michael, Patrick, Danielle, Kevin and I make up our great team.

My favourite part was when I became the top male bowler for the third year in a row! It was great to have pizza parties and Christmas parties as well. Though it wasn’t all fun and games, I tried to always beat my average and win against other teams. I was great to have my mom help me get to and from practices and that’s awesome. Bowling, I’ve learned that everyone has there good days and bad days but it’s good to have team-mates to help you play your best.
The plot of Career mode in the PS3 version involves SAGE, a sentient who is tasked with guiding Meridian City (in which the game is set in) through times of crises, recruits the player to face off against the Ascendants, a group that tries to take over and terrorize the city through vehicular-combat tournaments. The player is to compete, facing off against rivals (who are ranked) and challengers (who are not) as well as their lieutenants. Within each defeat, this allows SAGE to help locate her safeguard component, which shuts down her programming should she ever turn hostile towards humanity, and recover her database that contains her learning history.
Eventually the player comes across the Ascendants' leader who drives the "S" class vehicle Warlord that contains SAGE's safeguard. After the leader is defeated and the safeguard shut down, SAGE's database is reactivated and through her learning history, deduces by machine theory that the only way to protect humanity from themselves is through their destruction. The player is forced to fight her, whose database is in another "S" class vehicle named Executioner, and her personal army and chases her to her lair, a deserted military base where she prepares to have Meridian City destroyed. Through the use of weapons located there, SAGE is eventually defeated by the player.

Cutest Anime Ever

Rebel Radio

The anime series focuses on Lip, a newly-born Flower Fairilu, and her friends in Little Fairilu. The series follows Lip's overall life in Little Fairilu while making new friends and learning from everything around her, growing up day after day. It also tells about the Fairilu friends' adventures in the human world, where they can meet their human partners who support their dreams and are willing to help each other fulfill them.

I like Rilu Rilu Fairilu because it's a super cute anime that I watched in 2016 and it replaced Jewelpet in It's time slot and it takes place in a magical world called Little Fairilu and that's were all the Fairilus live and the main Characters are Lip, Himawari, Sumire and Rose.

The characters are fun and cute and it’s in Japanese and subbed in English. There are two seasons out and a third season coming this July.

I started listening to Rebel 101.7 on August 31st 2016. I like Rebel 101.7 because it's the new modern rock station in Ottawa and I waited for 2 years after The Bear for a new rock station. My favourite bands are Judas Priest, Motley Crue, Three Days Grace, Metallica, Breaking Benjamin, Billy Talent, Green Day, Wolfmother, Iron Maiden, Seether, Guns N' Roses, Black Sabbath, White Zombie, AC/DC, Stone Temple Pilots, Foo Fighters and Nirvana. I listen to Rebel 101.7 everyday.

I found out about Rebel 101.7 is I saw the advertisement on the OC Transpo Bus. I Listen to Rebel 101.7 at The Space during workshop, at my home and at my dad's.

What to Do in Hot Weather

Visiting the Science And Tech Museum

I don't like the hot weather because I get thirsty a lot and I sweat and I am uncomfortable. I listen to the radio to hear the weather report. Mother Nature makes us all hot including myself, my family, my friends and everyone in Ottawa. It's been over 30 degrees since Canada Day and the sun makes us all hot and some people died during the heat wave which is crazy to think. It makes me feel sad and frustrated when it's too hot humid. It makes me tired and grumpy.

I feel the heat outside my house when I'm playing video games and watching anime and listening to rock and metal and when I'm travelling to theSpace by bus. I would fix this issue by turning on the air conditioner and by drinking cold water and close the windows and ask Mother Nature nicely to make it less hot. :) I hope you read this article before our next heatwaves and how know how to survive the heat better and remember not leave people or pets in a hot cars.
I like the Science and Tech Museum because it has a lot of vehicles such old cars and trains. I started going there about 10 years ago. You can find it on St. Laurent Blvd at 1867 near the intersection of St. Laurent and Lancaster. There are many great exhibits to see if you are interested in tech and all things future. There is a shuttle and space related things to see. I only wish it was closer to where I live!

I first went there when I was 8 years old because there was many things there that I was interested in. Lot of older cars, trains and my all time favourite the Crazy Kitchen. I would always slip around. Since renovations they have updated a lot of it. I loved exploring everything that was there and running around when I was younger. There is so much to do including a gift shop. Going was always a great day. I can’t wait to go back.

Leading The Way

Beating the Boss

I loved Hot Wheels when I was a kid. Though I don’t collect them anymore because I outgrew them I collected a whole bunch over the last 20 years. Every year during my birthday and Christmas I would add to my collection. I had nearly 1,000 cars in total. I like cars because I love racing and I love cars. I keep all my cars in my bedroom and on a shelf.

My favourite item i collected was the Ferrari F50 because it was my favourite car in the Need For Speed video game series and i see them on the city streets. I stick my cars on a race track and find out who wins. I always like playing with my brothers.

Favourite Winter Activity

My favourite activity is downhill sledding at Cedarcroft park where I go every year. It’s a great place to sled because there’s lots of space and a perfect place to go fast. Sledding is great fun since I got my first sled and had my first trip down the hill. It’s great exercise because you’re outside in the fresh air going up and down the hill.

Everyone would agree that sledding is fun. It’s like going down a roller coaster because you feel the excitement of traveling really fast! I’m all about using the old toboggan when I’m sledding.

If you don’t like jumps or fast speeds this activity might not be for you. Personally going really fast is my favourite part. You can easily go anywhere there is a hill covered in snow. You can build your own jumps and hope you land right side up and sometimes you wipe out but that’s still fun. Riding with other people is also a blast as long as no one gets hurt if you crash!

A lot of my spare time is spending playing video games at home. I play all sorts of games such as racing, first person shooting and role playing. I started playing games in 2000 when I got the PlayStation 1 in the summer of that year. My first game I played was Need For Speed 2 and it’s a racing game. Since then I have defeated hundreds of bosses and won hundreds of races.

I love video games because just like music and movies they entertain me, interest me and brings me lots of joy. But unlike movies they are playable and interactive. You are in control they teach you lots as well. Games teaches you
strategy, learning from your mistakes and they show you worlds and stories just like books do. My all time favourite game is Shadow Of The Colossus because you fight giant monsters all by yourself.

If you like having fun, relaxing at home and playing with
other people then this hobby is for you. All you need is a good game and a TV. I love this hobby because I win all the time, I get to fight monsters and demons as well as race
rivals and bosses to win their vehicles.

Asobi (Fun in Japanese) is a card game I created. It is based off the popular UNO with a few extra rules and cards. I took my favourite characters from the Kill La Kill series. After illustrating them I created a card template and formatted all the cards. I changed the logo and colour to fit each of the four suits. Cutting and gluing the cards as well as making the box was the hardest part.  Asobi is a fast paced game that has become popular at theSpace. Its easy to learn and fun to play for everyone.
